FRANCE The Eiffel Tower In the spring of 1984, six students traveled to France with Mr. Peter loso. April in Paris was every bit as beautiful as the stories tell! After three days of shopping, touring, dancing, and dining in the “City of Lights,” the group traveled south to Avignon, arrriving just in time to see the sun rise over the Palais des Papes. Two days were spent exploring the Roman ruins in Nimes before traveling to the extraordinary Cote d’Aur. The spiraling cliffs ascending above the sapphires and emeralds of the Mediterrranean were breathtaking. Before leaving Europe, the group spent a glorious day traveling through the French Alps to Geneva. A spectacular fondue dinner at a famed Swiss hotel was the perfect way to end a trip that will always be remembered.
