DEDICATION The year of 1958-1959 Has been noteworthy for Columbia High School in that it saw the completion of the beautiful and functional addition to our original fine building. We, the senior class, wish to dedicate this book, not to the material structure alone, but to all those who contributed to the planning, the creative artistry, and the financial sacrifice which made this achievement possible. The addition of these areas for work and recreation provides the opportunity for years of useful activities, personal satisfaction and academic progress for those who in time to come will be privileged to use them. A world in turmoil, yet one facing horizons of hitherto undreamed of progress needs sound think- ing, educated and cultured citizens. We, the students who graduate from Columbia High School, inspired by the educational and civic progress for which it stands, accept this challenge.
