Fourth Row- Karen Novitsky. They're perky! They're peppyl Who are we talk- ing about? The cheerleaders, of course!! The en- thusiastic group of young women who bring to life our Hylander Spirit. Most of us just think of cheer- leaders as cheering at games, meets, and pep- fests, but they do so much more. In addition to performing skits at Christmas time and at Frost Daze, the cheerleaders put on coffees for the parents, make crazy and creative announce- ments, and spend many long hours working on locker signs to show their pride in our teams. There are those of you who are saying if you have seen one cheerleader, you have seen them all. Wrong! Each year the cheerleading squads are as individual and unique as the personalities that make them up. So let's hear it for the cheer- leaders. Rah! Rah! Rah! Football.
