Volume XXXVIII Another year and another step in God ' s plan of building us into His servants. It was a year known for elections, good times, and people working together , but more than that , it was a year that God continued to build us together to be a temple for Him and unto Him . But we ourselves together will build unto the Lord. Ezra 4:3 Building Together the Temple Unto the Lord ' God built us together to be more like Him through the teaching of His servants. Because of the life that they live, whether in the classroom or not, we may see Him. Just another step in God ' s plan to build us together so that we may rest completely in Him . . . . being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner stone; The campus , given to us by God , through the prayers of many of His people. It is a place where we grow more into His likeness. A part of our preparation, that will affect the total life of each person , here on earth and then when we see Him . in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord; Our purpose , to know Him . Our vision , to make Him known. As we work, fellowship, and just get along with one another. Because of His love, we are being built continually, through people and relationships , so that we may be the maximum for His purpose . .««= in whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God in the Spirit . He has a heart for missions and a fervent love for the people of God . His close , personal relationship with the Lord is reflected in the effectiveness of his public ministry as he relates with and addresses himself to individual and corporate needs. This man ' s life of trust and obedience challenges us to be victorious in our everyday Christian lives . He is a man of integrity and self-discipline, and as a faithful steward seeks to know and to do the will of God . His heart attitude is one of prayerful concern in seeking God ' s will on behalf of those God has entrusted to him . He knows us and loves us . His sensitivity to our needs and potentials enables him to lead us deeper into the purposes of God . His chapel messages stretch our intellectual capacity and deepen our sense of urgency in spreading the gospel . He is our counselor and friend , our President , a faithful servant , a man of God , J . Robertson McQuilkin. The association was organized during commencement week, 1930. In drawing up its constitution, the aim was stated to cooperate with the Bible college and its purpose as expressed in the motto, ' To Know Him and to Make Him Known ' ; to pro- mote fellowship among the graduates; to com- bine our efforts for the work of the Bible col- lege. The association, in its effort to fulfill these aims, offers numerous benefits including a new Career Assistance Program. Projects are also launched, and last year the association presented $50,000 to WMHK at its dedication ceremony. A portrait was also presented to Dr. Alan Redpath, featured speaker for the Chris- tian Life Conference . Homecoming 1976 was celebrated in con- junction with the Christian Life Conference in October. Members of the class of 1926 were honored at the Homecoming Banquet; four of the five were present for their 50th reunion. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. John Hehl, Miss Venie Johnson, and Mr. Eddie Kunath. God ' s Fellow Workers For we are God ' s fellow- workers; you are God ' s field, God ' s building. Plans for the radio station began over five years ago , and the fruition of these plans has been real evi- dence of the power of the God of the impossible . This power was particularly brought to awareness at the dedi- cation ceremony for WMHK on October 7, 1976 during the Christian Life Conference. At this time it was announced that the Alumni Project Goal to raise $50,000 for the radio station had been met. God has continued to show His faithfulness as the truth of His Word has been announced over WMHK to thousands throughout South Carolina and parts of Georgia and North Caro- lina. William Supplee, gives CBC stu- dents a unique opportunity for well-bal- anced training. The choir presents programs around the theme Joy in our Lord Jesus Christ. The impact of the choir on indi- vidual student ' s lives, however, is much greater than the visible ministry on campus and in local churches. Rehearsals emphasize not only memorization of concert numbers, but also voice training and music reading skills. The Group Ministries Seminar assists in the growth of individuals, as well as helps in the group ministry. Choir members also perform in a variety of social events. The backbone of the choir is the Christian Service group consisting of one second-year choir member, and four or five first-year members. The discipleship ministry through these groups is the basis of much of the choir ' s impact on individual lives.
