Robertson McQuilkin, President COLUMBIA BIBLE COLLEGE Dear Fellow-candidate for Wisdom: On the Celestial Computer what percentage has yo since last September? There may be a correlatio wisdom and your report card — or there may not. ween your Let me explain. There ' s ounce of godless wisdom, have many splendid ingred your wheel-making you may When you leave love out of lot of godless knowledge but there ' s When you leave the flour out of the n ents but no cake. When you leave C=n create an exotic design but you ' ll ne age you may have cohabitation, home. So when you leave God out of any calculation, since He is the basic ingredient, the central equation, the cohesive force of all existen you may have many delightful bits of information but you ' ll not have true wisdom. Such knowledge can only betray us by a shimmering illusion of reality. The acknowledgement of God is the beginning of wisdom. Eternal life and ultimate meaning must begin with God. And every field of knowledge must begin here if it is to conform to reality. But more than that every bit of knowledge, to become related to ultimate reality, must begin with God. What a thrilling thing! To find each piece of the puzzle fall into place when we establish God ' s position first. Wisdom doesn ' t tack religion on as an afterthought or rush God into the situation as an emergency measure It begins with God. Now then, how much gr habitual has it becom of knowledge with the an academic question, of life commitment. Yours for wisdom, jth has there been in your wisdom quotient? How to greet every problem, every plan, every new bi question: How does this fit with God? And not iither. The fear of the Lord — it ' s a questio th in your knowledge this ye .we - ' g- J.
