Your excellent spirit and the many examples of cooperation by the stu x dents and faculty give evidence of the fact that Colorado ' s institutions of higher learning are functioning to the best advantage. : -.: J] ' GOVERNOR AMMONS attended Denver University and is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He is a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. In 1929 he received his LL.B. from Westminster Law School. In 1930 and 1934 he was elected Senator. He was appointed City Attorney for the City and County of Denver and was elected Governor of Colorado in 1936. 22
