The new Publications Board dork room. THE PUBLICATIONS BOARD, headed by Nan Wolfer. controlled the policies and standards of student pubUcalions. This year. Ihe Board initiat- ed the presentation of Ihe E. K. Gaylord Award for outstanding contributions to publications, The first award was won by Nancy Jones. In addi- tion, the Board sponsored a plaque, to be dis- played in Lennox, honoring the underclassman who made the greatest contribution to student publications. Chip Show was the recipient of this year ' s recognition, The major contribution of this year ' s Board was the establishment of a dark room to be used by publication photographers. Faculty advisors for the board were Mr. Sim- cock, Dr. Gray, and Dr. Scolt. Editors and Busi- ness Managers ol the student pubUcations serve on the board. Ihe annual Song Fesl. the senior recognition dmner. and the Gold-Dig- gers ' Ball, LENNOX HOUSE BOARD comprises iaculty members and representotives of student organiza- tions who work together to establish policies of regulation and improvement ol the Student Union. THE SERVICE COMMITTEE, a subsidiary of A.W.S.. sponsors the second-hand bookstore and co-ordinates wel fare work done by the women THE VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE COMMITTEE works with Miss Grcnl in the Counselling Cen- ter to provide students with informolion concern ing job requirements, fellowships, scholarships, and graduate work. THE INTER-CLASS COMMITTEE consists of the sociol chairman of Ihe A.S.C.C, and the presi- dents of Ihe four classes.
