FRESHMAN WEEK !W lantern along with the freshman week activities of dances, chuck wagon dinner, fashion show and new friends, word spread of the ancient and horrible red lantern, actually composed of twelve sterling members of the senior class dedicated to up- holding the traditions of ex., it was thought to be a group loose from Dante ' s Inferno. through get acquainted parties, that included evening walks and hair in front of hagerman hall, it was learned that this red lantern is composed of students, since the discard of dinks, sweaters, paddles and ribbons a few members of the class of ' 53 have been heard to remark that the members are really human beings. officers seated: Bob Packard, vice president; Hal Beile, president and Bud Parlapiano, treasurer. standing: Chuck Stoddard, Dick Pfeiffer, C. T. Raines, Bill Murray, Jim Kinder, Weldon Tarter, Dick McCleary and Glenn blagg. Not pictured: Wilfred Perkins.
