i - Professor Blakely Professor Gilmore, Chairman Professor Albright THE SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCIENCES All Freshmen and Sophomore students at Colorado College are enrolled in the School of Arts and Sciences. This school provides a general education for those not planning to continue as well as the necessary background for those wishing to enter the advanced schools. Subjects of study in this school are divided into three groups which cover the special- ization on the advanced schools. Students are required to elect at least one subject in each group during the two years and to pursue one subject for both years. Upon completion of the requirements of the School a degree of Associate in Arts is awarded. a
