COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATIO Over the past few years the Student Cooperative Association has served us in many ways. This year it has tried to uphold the previous record that was established With this task before them it has undertaken various proJects for the betterment of our school During the summer our president attended State SCA Summer Workshop at Radford College Here the offrcers were dnlled ln Parhamentary Proce dure and how to cope with the problems Whlch arlse during their office In October the installatlon of 0ff1CCI'S and homeroom representatives took place durma an assembly This was a candle hght ceremony whlch Was most IIHPICSSIVC One of the most worthwhile projects undertaken by the SCA has been the bookmom For the past few years it has become a necessity to each one of us Also in October the District SCA Meetlng was held at Collegiate Hwh School. Here representatives from various district schools met to discuss problems and ideas involving their schools. In November tl1e QCA sponso-red the homecoming float and dance-both a complete success. A project which many students have seemed to take a personal interest in is the possibility of having an exchange student. Inquiries have been made to other schools supporting an exchange student, both the SCA will need the help and co-operation of everyone beforemaking this project successful.
