THE KAHOKI, the school newspaper, was composed by the students in the journalism classes and by other students who wanted to promote a better school understanding. Kim Zinke, the editor-in-chief of the KAHOKI, was assisted by its sponsor Mrs. Downing. The school and community news page was directed by Monica Brown and Marsha Fulcher. Gary Kebbel was given the task of the editorial page; while the features were done by Julie Eade and Debbie Horton. Wesley Coulson was given the job of completing the sports page of the newspaper. All of the editors and staff members spent many rewarding hours and hard work in making the 1970-71 KAHOKI a source of enjoyment for all. The Kahoki staff combines their energies to meet another publication deadline. t iU Kdkokc FIRST ROW: P. Oldani, J. Eade. D. Horton. D. Ashcroft. M. Massa. R. Chadwick, C. Terry. SECOND ROW: P. Under the supervision of sponsor, Miss Linder, and co-editors Debbie Horton and Bill Chao, this year’s staff learned the mechanics of compiling a successful yearbook and worked diligently to make it a Fine one. Projects designed to raise funds for publication included selling popcorn during lunch periods and at basketball games. Diligence and much hard work combined to provide a yearbook which the entire student body may be proud of. Organizations Co-Editor Sue Cohen looks over the finished product. 20
