Christian Science Organization The Christian Science Organization, founded on campus in 1954, endeavors to acquaint all interested students with the Christian Science Religion. The group heard speakers on religious topics and attended dinners at local church members ' homes. Members participate in weekly devotionals. Members rehearse for a skit prior to a meeting. Newman Club The Newman Club, a Roman Catholic student organization, was founded at the College in 1960. The gi ' oup sponsored student Masses in the Wren Chapel, furthered friend- ships at Sunday breakfasts and din- ners, and made plans for an under- privileged children ' s kindergarten in Williamsburg.
