The students ' voices swelling, Strong and true and clear; Alma Mater ' s love they ' re telling. Ringing far and near. CHORUS William and Mary, loved of old, Hark upon the gale. Hear the thunder of our chorus, Alma Mater — hail! All thy sons arc faithful to thee Through their college days : Singing loud from hearts that love thee Alma Mater ' s praise. Iron shod or golden sandaled Shall the years go by — Still our hearts shall iveave about thee Love that cannot die. But one varsity hack will he missing from last season ' s team, and no first string linesmen will he out. Thus, with a nucleus that includes practically all of last year ' s varsity, and with the wonderful material coming up frrm the 1928 freshman team, which was not scored on during the entire season, the prospects for a string of victories are bright. =C JMSEffMOL , ' THE COLONIAL ECHO THE SQUAD Winn Captain Varsity Basketball Results 1929 if. 3 2+ 19 21 ' 5 26 24 24 32 19 19 33 35 36 16 35 and M.
