During that time, both could find satisfaction in special moments such as a friendly game of catch. But, at other times, the SPUD child, like all kids, would disobey or simply cause a commotion. Undoubtedly these few minutes were trying. On the whole, however, the experience was positive and was well worth the few hours invested. 4 XM

'. ,is-' Did You Start Every Semester With Regular Trips To Dinand? The start of every semester brings with it lofty aspirations, not the least of which is the elevation of one's QPI. This academic ambition draws a surprising num- ber to Dinand Library when only intro- ductions are being read. The regular attendance which characterizes the first few weeks of the semester eventually begins to wane as social, athletic and extra- curricular interests exert their magnetic effect. When the first round of tests appear on the horizon, attendance at Dinand begins to increase and prime locations are very much sought after. The pattern inevitably repeats itself during the semester. Finals bring an extreme situation - just ask the thirty who stood in lines on that snowy December morning waiting for the library to open.
