Each year the faculty selects as new members the Juniors and Seniors who meet the requirements. The requirements of the National Honor Society are very high. They are Leadership, Service, Character, and Scholarship, and a B average. All these requirements must be met to become a member. Mr. W. A. Ownbey is the sponsor of this organization. His guidance helps to make this organization one of the highest honors in the school. We are very proud to have the National Honor Society in our school and we hope it will continue to go forward in the future. 28
