The Girls Sports Club is a new organization formed this year for the girls of College High. The purpose of the club is to give the girls more opportunities in the field of sports and to create the right attitude of sportsmanship among them. Members participate in sports such as field hockey, bas- ketball, baseball, swim ing, badminton, and many others once a week. There is a business meeting twice a month. There are no qualifications for membership except regular attendance. The four sponsors are Miss Koetting CHead of State College Physical Education for Womenl, Miss Wilson, Miss Hardin, and Miss Remlqy. 23

The College High Fishing and Hunting Club is in its first year of active operation. 'The purposes of this club are to achieve a greater appreciation for and an understanding of the different methods of hun- ting and fishing, to develope better sportsmanship among its members, to promote safety, and to gain a wider knowledge of game laws. 25
