Mr. LeRoy Kerns' advisory group began the year by winning the Junior Red Cross Drive in competition with all other advisory groups. Continuing these winning ways, Q the organization sponsored a telegraph booth at the Homecoming dance. For a money-making project, student S H t' photographers snapped pictures of school events and Q offered them for sale. Arnold Quillen was chairman of the group, with Joann Conlin as vice-chairman, and Shirley Sober as secretory. Mr. LeRoy Kerns was their f sponsor. Y ve' Miss Rhoda Foss' advisory group sponsored gp the wheel-of-fortune and the profile portrait booths at the Homecoming dance and an April Fool's Dance. Profits earned were used to pur- chase two shields for the school auditorium, one displaying the College High crest, and the other listing those veterans of College High who lost their lives overseas. During the month of November, Shoemaker's advisory group sponsored a rvoller-skating party for their project. With the money earned the group bought a radio for the activity room. Each s 5 member participated in the planning of a bowling LV booth for the Homecoming dance. The group also took on active part in the Red Cross Drive.
