Behind them are the three society column writers on the Beagle,drawing upafair romance between play boy and sportsman Larry Jutzi and Dot Dunning, who owns a string of race horses. She's her own jockey and already has one hitched. l think the columnists names are John Etson, Janet Henkle and Betty Butler. Now making their grand appearance, the officers of the Gopher Clubn, Pres- ident Jill Chasem Hardert, Vice Pres- ident Jean Crav'en,the fast but slick Sec- retary Butter Fingers' Ostendorf, the Treasurer Giveme Stepaniak, not so fast with some boys,but mighty good with Jack Clvloneyl. And last but not least Carri'em Away Schlegel who really lives up to the Club's motto: We gopher boys . Wondering what all the disturbance is aboutis Gladys Alle-n,the famous research doctor. She's now working on a cure for Couflagration of the Stone Gudgeon - all of a sudden there's a wild shriek from a woman, Oh, Carolyn Tieman just dropped her bubble gum in the aisle. She owns a bubble gum factory and is quite a success in the art of blowing square bubbles. And Mary Margaret Moore, greatest thing in Television with her pal Lucille Jacobs the Kate Smith of T. V.And now the lights dim, the audience is silent and the curtain is up on the play - The actors speak - Janet: I love you, James - so much that it hurts me. James: lt hurts me too, Janetn.
