THE CLASS WILL We the Class cf l9M9 in twelve individual and distinct parts being about to passout of this sphere of education, in full possession of a crammed mind welltrained memory, and almost superhuman under standing, do make and publish this our last will and testament here by revoking and making void all former wills or promises by us at any time heretofore made on mayhap carelessly spoken, one to the other as the thoughtless wish of an idle hour And first we do direct that our funeral services shall be con ducted by our friends and well wishers our superintendent and his all wise and ever competent faculty, who have been our guardians for so long only asking, as the last injuotion of the dying, that the funeral be carried on with all the dignity and pomp that our worth our merit, our attainments and our position as Seniors of 'grave and reverend mien' must certainly have deserved As to such estate as it has pleased the Fates and our own stron hands and brains to win for us, we do dispose of the same as follow Item We give and bequeath to our beloved Superintendent Prof M C Jones, our sincere affection, our llepeet reverence our heartlest gratitude and the whole unlimited wealth of our eternal memory Item Again we give and bequeath to our beloved faculty all the amazing knowledge and startling information that we have furnished that much which we have imported to them in this way must have been entirely new to them as well as to all teachers and students every where and would throw much new light cn many a hitherto familiar line of thought throughtout the year of science and learning even out side the halls and walls of India Grace High School If the faculty see fit they are hereby authorized to give out such of this informa- tion to the world as they may feel the world is ready to receive We trust they will also feel at perfect liberty to make use of all such bits of wisdom and enlightenment for the education of the classes to come after us This cf course is left entirely to their personal discretion Item The following may seem but trifling bequest, but we hope they may be accepted not as worthless things lavishly thrown away because we can no longer keep them but as valuable assets tc those who may receive them, and a continual reminder of the generosity of heart displayed in our free and full bestowal I To our class room teacher, Miss McCardell fond admiration and ever enduring friendship for the Class of l9h9 in individual as well as collective manifestation 2 To the Freshmen Class that is to be any overlooked cuds of gum we may have left We have sometimes had to rid ourselves of these in tco much haste to be able to pick and choose the most de slrable means of disposal 3 To Bobbie Jackson Aveline leaves her cousins She feel that she will not need them anymore She can now face the wor d behind her own coat of paint With Julia Mae Emma Sue feels that she can share her gift of gab and still have enough left next leap year Bobble Jean leaves her happy go lucky attitude to Gladys Parker Betty Je leaves her big mouth and temper to Ldbby Ann 11 ' I I -s I , .- D Y J I ' .v I 1 I I e 8 53 I e e e I 1 e I , them from time to time in our various examination papers, We know , - , A I 1 s I I 9 J s It I - Q A !
