LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1954 We, the class of 1954, of the Cohocton High School, being of sound mind and body on this day-December, do make, execute, publish, and declare the following to be our Last Will and Testament. Item I To the faculty, we the senior class, donate money for two weeks in a rest home, which you will need by the end of this year. Item II To the maintenance staff we leave our hearty appreciation for keeping our school a clean and pleasant place in which to work. Item III To the Junior Class we leave our ability to get along in class meetings and with each other. Item IV To the following lower classmen we leave our cherished possessions. Theresa Adams wills her quiet intelligence to Joan Mehlenbacher. Sam Burke leaves his ability to get along with teachers to Roger Towner. Bob Doody leaves his artistic ability to Ella Mae Sabins. Louise Giacomi leaves her wornout boots, bent baton, and ability to fill out a majorette uniform to Karen Enser. Bill Larsen leaves his wave set and curlers to the Junior Mohawk Boys (Bill Mclnnis, Spook Matthews and Rog Towner) who he thinks will need them. Virginia Preston leaves her gymnastic ability to Shirley Wheaton. Betty Rawleigh leaves her yearbook typing job to Carol Mehlenbacher. Gary Sauerbier wills his ability to get along with women to Eldon Wager. Joyce Thompson leaves her ability to ride horses to Tereasa Centra and Norena Brown. Patsy Van Patton leaves her musical ability to Jean Vogt. Carol Zeh leaves her ability to skip gym class to any lucky Junior girl that may be able to acquire it. Karl Zeh leaves his speech making ability to Lee Meese. To Larry Lippincott and Marcia Kimball, Bill Larsen, Sam Burke and Bob Doody leave their ability to argue in history class. Joyce Thompson leaves her blond wig to Marjorie Williams. Our work now being completed, we lay our hands on the seal of this our Last Will and Testament, of die Class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty Four.

Superintendent of Highways, Eldon Wager Karl Zeh who was senior class president in 1954 has reported 100 per cent attendance at the 1959 alumni banquet. Keep up the good work, classmates. You know we all loved old C. C. S. back in 1954 and we still do. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wambold and young daughter Josephine were visiting friends here last Sunday. Mr. Wambold is now Supervisor of Music at the State Department in Albany. Though years may bring some changes new We will feel a tie so strong Though some of us be far away Here in mem’ry we belong. Robert Doody who has completed the course for C. P. A. at Alfred U. last year, has left his position with the State Department in Albany and will open a very elaborate office in the Me Innis Block here. He will be prepared to help you with income tax returns or other financial problems. It is rumored that he will take over part ownership of a local restaurant. Amen Both the Governor and State Senator will be in Co- hocton next Sunday to break ground for thenew Cohoc- ton-Wallace subway. This new project is under the direction of Larry Lippincott. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wheaton spent part of last week on Lent Hill. Mrs. Wheaton the former Teresa Adams, has resigned from her position as medical secretary at the Veteran’s Hospital in Bath to assist her husband at the Wheaton Implement Co. of Cohoc- ton. This firm has enlarged considerably within the past year. Have you tried the new Don't Rub dry cleaning fluid? If not, why not? It is recommended for use everywhere except on the scalp. Money will not be refunded for loss of hair due to its application. Gary Sauerbier who is presently employed as In- dustrial Arts teacher in Painted Post arrived in town in a bright new red Buick convertible to attend the reunion banquet last week. Teacher’s salaries must have reached an all time high as Gary really looked the picture of prosperity. Back seat drivers forget all they know when they sit behind the wheel. The Better Driver's Association of Steuben County advises driving with your lights on at night. Also 2 hands on the wheel have been found to be better than one. Carol Zeh has been spending a few days at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Zeh in Co- hocton. She has been employed as legal secretary
