Qfdotafzq In the fall of T950 we entered the halls of CHS as a throng of lowly freshmen led by the following officers: Craig Kosonen, president, Richard Shern, vice president, Joy Groscost, ASB representative, and Gertrude Carder, secretary-treasurer. The main social event was the freshman reception. In our second year we overcame some of our timidness and took our proper place among the students of CHS. We sponsored a sophomore sport dance and chose our class sweaters of blue and white. The officers for this year were Gertrude Carder, presa ident, Jim Hawkins, vice president, Richard Shern, ASB representative, and Anna McCaw, secretary-treasurer, How Deep is the Ocean was the theme of our Junior Prom which was carried out in elaborate decorations March 27, T953 ln the spring of this year we got our class rings of which we had a choice of two settings. Craig Kosonen was president this year. Bob Thompson, vice president, Bill Drake, treasurer, .lim Hawkins, secretary, and Rich- ard Shern, ASB representative. The fourth and last year came only too soon. Richard Shern was chosen presi-- dent, Kay Posey, vice president, Kaye Burch, secretary-treasurer, and Gary Tronson, ASB representative. We sponsored two dances after football games to earn money for the Senior Ball. Class pictures were on the calendar for early winter. Highlights of our last year were the Senior Ball, senior picnic, Baccalaureate, and senior breakfast. Our history of CHS ended May 19, 1954, with graduation.
