CLASS PROPHECY Bellvue Hospital for the Insane February 30, 1975 As we are down on our hands and knees gazing into the oil spots on a mud puddle, we are rather startled to see a torch light parade enthusiastically dragging down NUTTEL- MAN Avenue. It used to be Sherman Avenue but it has been renamed after the famous Arctic explorer BEATRICE NUTTELMAN. At the head of the procession is JOANNE SMOCK, still carrying a torch. Next comes a banner proclaiming CAROL HUTSELL for President in ,76.', It is car- ried by DICK KORNBACHER, next First Gentleman of the Land, and JOANN REY- NOLDS, future Secretary of State. ALFIE BEAULIEU is also running for President . . . as if a man could ever get elected in this day and age. His campaign manager is DICK RICE, master politician. Here comes a newspaper floating toward us. It is named DAN PILKINGTON'S Press but some old-timers persist in calling it the Coeur d'Alene Press. Look at those headlines! CAROL HORNING swims Atlantic, BILL POWELL sails around the world on his bass viol accompanied by his brother FRANK POWELL on the piano. They won't have to give the piano haircuts while they're gone as it is a Baldwin piano. SHIRLEY BRANDVOLD tries same trick on her cello. It is upset by a typhoon in the China Sea and rescued by JACKIE WEISER, Jackie was cruising in her ninety foot yacht when Seacook RAY MELVIN spotted Shirley swimming around. MICKEY MYLAN wins Soap Box Derby! RAYMOND ENDICOTT opens hotdog stand at Fourth and Nuttelman, it is rumored that he started on a shoe string, potato, that is. MARGARET POST, former U. S. President sells deep freezers to Eskimoes and makes much cold cash. Let's find a new mudpuddle and a nice round oil spot. Here's DON PETERSON on his one hundred thousand acre estate where he is engaged at his hobby of ditch-digging. His ditch is thirty thousand miles long and covers three oceans. BONNIE PEOPLES supports this enterprise by working at the Ben Franklin store, which is owned by capitalist GEORGE HAYES. SONNY LONG is Don's gentleman's gentleman. Don's television set is turned on and we can see FRITZ KINDLER leading the Lolly Pops Philharmonic Orchestra. We are very lucky because we just missed BURT LENTS, the worst comedian on television. The next program will be a telastory starring GLEN ERICKSON and JANET URBANEK in a revival of The Three Bearsi' as written by GEORGE WILSON. EVELYN ROE and STEVE ANDERSON have supporting roles. They hold up the scenery. EDWIN GLASCO plays a private eye and PEARL KUYKENDALL has a role as Paul Revere. George really used his imagination in writing this version of The Three Bears. HARVEY HERRIGSTAD is master of ceremonies on a show which consists of sound effects left over from other shows and a singing commercial about MAXINE HUNT'S prune and pickled-pineapple popovers. MARVIN COWAN is a television cow-poke in a show called Stagger along Sassifrassidyn sponsored by DUNCAN CARNIE Inc., manu- facturers of Mush Wush, sensational new breakfast food. LOIS RUDE runs a quiz show, Quizzing Crackpots sponsored by KEITH NIXON and ELMER FILLER, designers of Ladies' chapeaux fin other words, hatsj. ALICE KIRKHOVEN won the state of Texas on a quiz program. When asked to name two personal pronouns she just said, Who, me?', KAY CHAMBERLIN was exiled to Siberia for not knowing the atomic number of SALLY ORR'S mocha cakes. Bon voyage, Kay. On his weekly show CLIFF AGAR has a pet dinosaur whom he caught in Outer Mon- golia. According to the current telecast, JIM KELLY and ZIP JOKI have designed a new flying saucer. With FRED LANORE as pilot they are leaving today for the moon. Bon voyage to you, too. LEON AGEE rides around in a rocket ship driven by one of his own tied flies, a Royal Coachman, no less. BOB JOHNSON is a banker so he spends all his time trying to defeat Champion LEROY MERKEL at golf. He never succeeds because his hockey stick makes such a lousy putter. Here's a long distance oil spot. Let's look . . . no, not that! FRITZ GRAHAM is presi- dent of the University-of Idaho. RONNIE YOUNGMAN is professor of English Literature and philosophy and KATHY MARSAN teaches paleontology and archeology. FRANCES FULLER is professor of Brooklynese dialects.
