CLASS HISTORY The colorful class of 1952 has done quite well in making a name for itself during the past four years of its existence here at CHS. Starting the class on its way, was President John Ashley. Of the assistance of Alfie Beaulieu as Vice President, Billy Posey as Secretary and Pat Dennis as ASB Representative, our class survived through its first big struggle toward great accomplishments. Among the first of these was a roller skating party that was enjoyed by all the members of the class. As our Sophomore year opened we began to fit in to the usual pace of high school students. With the help of Ray Endicott as President, Don Peterson as Vice President, Kay Chamberlin as Secretary and Elmer Filler and Janet Moser as ASB Representatives, the class had a successful year from beginning to end. Making us Juniors and upperclassmen, the third year found us fully prepared to accept our responsi- bilities. The class was led by President Ray Endicott. Elmer was Vice President, Bonnie Peoples for Secre- tary and Sonny Long ASB Representative. The main highlight for that year was the Junior Prom held March 30, 1951. The theme, the elaborately decorated Stairway to the Stars, was said to have been one of the most beautifully decorated formal dances ever given at CHS. Class rings were another well remembered feature in the diary of this class. These rings were made of gold and black enamel with the numbers 19 and 52 on each side of a C on the top of the ring. They were given the spring the class were juniors. The fourth and last year slipped away faster than any. There were a long line of events taking place this year, besides all the games, plays, and all that hap- pens every year. To start things off the class elected LaDonna Jensen for their President, to assist in lead- ing the class were Alfie Beaulieu, Vice President, Dan Pilkington, Secretary, Sonny Long, ASB Representa- tive. First graduation pictures were in the making, then the Senior Ball held that spring. Last, but not least, was the biggest and greatest accomplishment, they had worked hard to achieve all during their life- time of education. Baccalaureate and graduation, May 25 and 28. Thus the high school history of the class of 1952 was ended. They leave here to take their places in the world of today.
