Drama students and theatre 'ans altke were gufen an extra treo thus year wtth cr program ot 20 plays and assembly slats Forty tour boys and twenty sux gurls appeared tn every type at role tram corpses of Blackfeet warriors to Roman consptrators wuth twen tteth century wrust watches and neckttes The season opened wtth the hut burlesaue .l Caesar with Roger Sully Haga done and Don Scott IIT the roles of Caesar and Brutus On the same program October o was Roclang Chaur Rovx all gtrl front stage act Then followed on October 27 The Latest IIT Football and Who Shoots wht h featured an outstandlng cast headed by Deane Hamilton and Sam Webb Both Caesar and VVho Shoots? were later re presented on the stage of the Dream Theatre Welcome Danger all school productuon ln three acts was offered for three per tormances opentng on December l It featured Don Scott Francls Shaw Frances Ertck sen Roger Hagadone Jack McArthur and Chrrsste Harguss wnth an xcellent supportmg cast On December T7 the Chrustmas program consusted ot Pop Reads the Chrlstmas Carol and The Hummrngburd Htccups the last named also berng presented December 26 at the U S O A Gurl an Every Port and the pantomlmuc And the Lamp Went Out gave the students thetr cleverest dramatic combunatuon as the ttrst comedy starred Roger Young and a bevy of seven tatr molds whtle the second drew an all star cast conststtng of Jtmmy and Laura Burns Shlrley Lou Douglas Joanne Mulentus and Jack Lacy wuthout a word belng spoken throughout the playlet lnduan Moon on March 29 showed what an all vt ale cast ot twenty could do wtth comedy songs and dances and a brand new set Jtm Shepperd as Chtef Fullomoon Stdney Roach as Mnnnteheehee and Harry Secaur as Huwater headmg the merry crew Back of the Yards the testtval drama won second honors tn a tue on Aprul T4 Nhereun Chrusste I-largtss was voted the oest actress ID the Northern State ftnals Thus Beung Young scheduled tor May TO ll T2 us a three act modern comedy The cast Includes more newcomers tncludrng Eduth and Adson Starner and Carol Rosen lund wtth lead parts also assigned to Darwun Coaswell and Laura Bcrns The speech department thus year acqutred a new coach W W Pop Garver of oeur d Alene 50 . .
