riftcipal’a ftl Aaeige Ihis moment happily recalls former years when it was my rare privilege to welcome you to our school and to work with you as you continued your education. It is with the deepest sense of humility that I express my appreciation to the Hand of Destiny in having permitted me to engage in so great a cause, and now in affording me this welcomed opportunity to participate in the last few activities of your high school career. In addition to the basic skills you have attained, you should have developed a foundation for character and citizen- ship and an appreciation for certain values. This, I be- lieve, is what all students must attain before leaving high school. Our past, present, and future society is predicted on this concept of education. It is easy to define certain phases of education; how- ever, it is more difficult to accomplish these goals. I sincerely hope that each of you has made this accomplishment and that you will be able in the future to deliberate, to reflect, and to act. s j
