OUR FRESHMAN TEAR Our Freshman year began with 25 members. The first activity was to select our class officers. They were: P. Clark, President; P. Cummings, Vice-President; B. Twombly, Secretary; J. Tuttle, Treasurer; and J. Stevens and M. Long were our Student Council representatives. The next dreaded event was our initiation and the Superior Sophomores showed us no mercy. Those participating in the Senior Play were E. Emerson and W. Thomas. The athletic players were: Soccer--R. Bartels; Volleyball--J. Hatch; Baseball--D. Laramie, E. Emerson, M. Long, W. Blanchard, R. Bartels; Softball--J. Hatch, P. Clark, J. Baker, J. Stevens, B. Bailey, S. Konopka, D. Pickering, B. Twombly, S. McGowen; Girl's Basketball--D. Pickering, J. Baker, S. Konopka, B. Bailey; and, cheering us onto victory were B. Twombly and P. Clark. OUR SOPHOMORE YEAR Our Sophomore year, we began with 27 members, although we lost M McGowen, C. Blanchard, J. Hatch, S. McGowen, D. Laramie, P. Cunningham, W. Blanchard, and R. Clark, we gained K. Stimpson, R. Wiley, E. Carr, L. Swietlowicz, K. Warren, S. Small, J. Warren, C. Allard, J. Pickering, and Dawn Prescott. The first item on our agenda was the selection of class officers. They were: M. Long, President; J. Stevens, Vice-President; B. Twombly, Secretary; J. Tuttle, Treasurer; the Student Council represen- tatives were J. Baker and R. Hoadley. As the new Superior Sophomores, we took out our revenge on the frightened Freshmen at initiation. Playing in sports were: Volleyball-J. Baker; Soccer-J. Tuttle, R. Bartels, P. Cummings, D. Stone, M. Long; Cross Country--J. Tuttle; Boy's Basketball--M. Long, J. Tuttle; Girls' Basketball--S. Konopka, D. Pickering; Softball--C. Allard, J. Baker, P. Clark, B. Bailey, S. Konopka; Baseball-E- Emerson, R. Bartels; Cheerleaders—J. Baker, P. Clark, J. Stevens, L. Swietlowicz. 12

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the class of 1967, of Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, being of sound mind and body, do hereby present this, our last will and testament. Article 1: 1, Carolyn Allard, do hereby will and bequeath a fifty-gallon coffeepot and my left-over cookies to Miss Manning. Rots of Ruck!!! Article II: I, Elizabeth Bailey, do hereby will and bequeath my giggles to Donna Downs. Article III: I, Janis Baker, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to get into trouble and not get caught to Sara Strachan. What a way to go, Sara! Article IV: 1, Richard Bartels, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to use the agi truck at any time, for any reason, to anyone who loves to live dangerously. Article V: I, Patti Clark, do hereby will and bequeath my dimples to Patty Scribner. A smile will do wonders, Pat. Article VI: I, Philip Cummings, do hereby will and bequeath my ways with girls, my good looks, and my loving charm to Joey White. Article VII: I, Ronald Hoadley, do hereby will and bequeath all the time I have spent in the hallways to anyone who wants to save up the time and not go to school all year. Article VIII: I, Bonnie Noyes, do hereby will and bequeath my cheering ability to Jenifer Merryfield- A cheerio 1 Ha! Ha! Article VIV: I, Donna Pickering, do hereby will and bequeath my rewarding position as secretary to Mr. Rutherford to any girl brave enough to accept the challenge. It makes for good grades, girls!! 1 Article X: I, Susan Small, do hereby will and bequeath my well-used and abused excuses for getting out of any class, at any time, to Beverly Bailey. For a complete list, dial 942-5564. Article XI: I, Joan Stevens, do hereby will and bequeath my quiet and ladylike manners to Terri Davidson. Article XII: I, Richard Stone, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to have no homework assignment bother me to anyone who thinks it’s worth anything. Article XIII: I, John Tuttle, do hereby will and bequeath my ability not to do homework and still get A's in math to David Birks, who needs it. Article XIV: I, Jeff Warren, do hereby will and bequeath my amazing luck with girls to anyone who likes to be a loner. Article XV: I, Kathy Warren, do hereby will and bequeath my beautiful Corvair to anyone who likes to push cars around.

OUR JUNIOR YEAR We began classes with 20 Juniors. We lost D. Stone, M. Long, K. Stimpson, S. Konopka, D. Prescott, J. Pickering. M. Richardson joined us. Our class officers were: J. Stevens, President; J. Baker, Vice-President; C. Allard, Secretary; J. Tuttle, Treasurer; representing us in Student Council were E Emerson and B. Bailey. Our first attraction was the Battle of the Bands . The Vistas were the champions, special features were the Go-Go Girls--P. Clark, C. Allard, S. Small, and B. Twombly. Our next big dance was the Junior Prom, the title of which was In the Misty Moonlight . We had a very good turnout. C. Allard was crowned queen, and J. Baker and B. Bailey were the aides. During the year we lost R. Wiley and M. Richardson. The dramatic play, The Mouse That Roared , had in its cast: P. Clark, J. Warren, J. Tuttle, and P. Cummings. Those playing in sports that year were: Soccer--J. Tuttle, R. Hoadley, R. Bartels, P. Cummings; Volleyball--P. Clark, J. Baker; Cross-Crountry--J. Tuttle, P. Cummings; Softball--P. Clark, J. Baker, C. Allard, S. Small, B. Bailey, D. Pickering, K. Warren; Baseball--P. Cummings; Boys' Basketball--J. Tuttle, P. Cummings; Cheerleaders--?. Clark-co-captain, C. Allard, J. Baker, S- Small, J. St evens. OUR SENIOR TEAR As the new All-Knowing Seniors take their sixteen seats in homeroom, we turn and look at old, new, and lost faces. S. Chase, D. Stone, W. Thomas, E Emerson, And L Swietlowicz were no longer in this spectacular class. We did get K. Stimpson back! The first job was to elect officers. They are: P. Cummings, President; J. Stevens, Vice-President; B. Bailey, Secretary; R. Stone, Treasurer; Student Council--B. Noyes, President, and R. Hoadley. As usual the Smart Seniors won the magazine sale for total money sales. Once again, the Battle of the Bands was held. Go-Go Girls were C Allard, P. Clark, J. Baker, and D. Pickering. The new champions, who defeated the Vistas, were the Madhatters. Those participating in sports this year were: Volleyball--J. Baker, B. Bailey, K. Warren; Soccer-- J. Tuttle, R. Hoadley, P. Cummings, R. Bartels; Boys' Basketball--J. Tuttle, P. Cummings; Girls' Bas- ketball --K. Warren; Cheerleaders--J. Stevens, D. Pickering, B. Bailey, J. Baker, P. Clark, C- Allard; Softball--C. Allard, B. Bailey, J. Stevens, J. Baker, S. Small, K. Warren, D. Pickering, P. Clark; Base- ball--R. Bartels, P. Cummings. 13
