Given in absentia. Gail Pickering: The Good Housekeeping Award for the neatest Lunar living room. Roberta Reese: The Bird of Paradise Award for having the only navy-blue bird without wings. Jerry Rhoades: The April First Award for being elected most popular man on campus at Smith and Vassar. Richard Shaw: Was given the Common Sense Award for quick and responsive action in emergencies. John Sherman: The AAU Award for the fastest quarter mile on crutches. Susan Small: The Greyhound Bus Award for services rendered. Georgia Stevens: The Betty Crocker Gold Garbage Can Award for services above the splash line. William Stevens: The Johnny Appleseed Award for the population explosion in Mac Intoshes. Robert Tasker: The Truant Officer Award for dedication above the call of duty. Barbara Thomas: The IBM Kitten Award for the most softest touch never recorded. Judy Veinote: The Chiropractor Award for the most flexible vertebrae. Donald Witham: The Speedy Gonzales Award for winning the first one-man relay race. x7

PROPHECY The Class of 1966 gathered in the gayly decorated gymnasium. An air of excitement permeated the atmosphere. Awards for outstanding achievement for the past ten years were presented to the following people: Linda Anthony: Commercial Educator's Award, for creating a no-homework, shorthand system. James Barnes: Ringo Starr Rocking Bongo Award, for dissonance. Judith Brackett: The Snowman Award, for loyalty to her mittens. William Brackett: The Monte Carlo Award for his stability at the wheel. David Buzzell; The Mannerly Gentleman Award for his mature personality and witty sayings like: Are you out of your tree ? Robert Carpenter: The Connubial Bliss Award for having such a sly technique. David Copeland: The Playboy Award for neatness of dress. Sandra Dewey: The Faithful Sportsman Award for her support for a lost cause. Julie Gagne: The John Robert Gregg Award for traveling the most miles while typewriting. Gary Goldsmith: The Calvin Coolidge Award for the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious line. Samuel Johnson; Was awarded the Udder Cow of America for the softest hands. Reggie Kemp: Edsel Lemon Award for the best experimental vehicle for oxidation. William Marston: Feminine Affinity Award for effectiveness of resistance. James Meyer: UFO Award for citing the first purple cow. 26
