The Junior Prom was next. Our theme was An Evening in Blue. Meredith Dunn was our beautiful queen. Coral Magoon and Marcia Richardson were her aides. This year ended very successfully. At the beginning of our Senior and final year, we started with 17 members. During the year we lost John Ricker, leaving us with our present 16 members: 8 boys and 8 girls. Our class officers were: President Nancy Neilsen; Vice President: Clive Demmons; Secretary: Coral Magoon; Treasurer: Burton Curley; Student Council: Meredith Dunn and Spencer Richdale. The float for the Deerfield Fair was entitled Miss Coe-Brown. Meredith Dunn, our queen of the Prom, reigned as Miss Coe-Brown. Audrey Neal, Marcia Richardson, Nancy Neilsen and Coral Magoon were her aides. It was very beautiful and we are proud to say we won first prize. The Senior Play this year was a great success. We did the Importance of Being Earnest.” The Christmas Dance this year, we are sorry to say, wasn't very much of a success. During this year we had dancing classes instructed by Mrs. Kennard Goldsmith. We enjoyed them very much and our dances proved to be more successful. Audrey Neal was our candidate for queen for the annual Coronation Ball and walked away with the honor as Queen. There was a very large turn-out and our new gym looked great. And so our days at Coe-Brown have come to an end; now, we can only reminisce. Nancy Neilsen Coral Magoon 15
