They reaped their reward this year in the form of being rated the outstanding triple trio in the Big Horn Basin. After receiving a l at District they sang their way to the State Festival where they were also given a superior rating. These girls not only sang at many affairs in Cody this year but also at various events out of town. S Marilyn L M The Madrigal Group spent many enjoyable eve- nings and noon hours putting their talents to work at practices and performances. Members are, Lloyd Buswell, Don Acton, Bill Nielson, Noel Reynolds, John Robertson, Mark Dover, Brent Archibald, Mike Richards, Larry Seekins, Betty Martin, Barbara McDonnell, Judy Underwood, Anne Damon, Frances Audier, Marilyn Lyall, Deanne Allphin, Linda Schultz, Marge Bapst and Gail Rogers. Not pictured are Mark Bowman and Alta Knapp. Frances Audier, Mar e Bapst, Bobbi Mc- artin and Gail Rogers. C. .XX HY' The Triple Teens, organized this year, have already made a name for themselves in Cody High School. They received a II rating at the District Festival. Members are, Nena Chambers, Alta Knapp, Sally Fedell, Vickie Irwin, Judy Simonton Linda Shore, Karen Green, Marsha Jones and Renee Moore, accompa- nist. The spirited boys' quarette sang all year long together enjoying every song. No one could forget their night- shirts and teddy bears at the Christmas Concert when they sang I Saw Mommie Kissing Santa Claus. Tom Kaimann and Lloyd Buswell sang tenor while Larry Seekins and Don Acton sang bass. l24

Remember their cowgirl outfits and Cowboy Toe? Q -fi ,I M! pam Q One of the outstanding numbers per- formed at the band assembly held January 26, was the Five Mellow Winds written to the memory of Glenn Miller and played for us by Danny Spangler, Lois Nordquist, Carolyn Hayner, Brent Archibald, and Larry Seekins. The Trumpet Trio is one ofthe small ensembles which represented Cody at the District Music Festival where they received a superior rating and at the State Music Festival where they received a ll. Renee Moore played the first trumpet, Kenny Boggio played the second trumpet, Owen LaFave the third trumpet and Danny Spangler accompanied the trio on the piano. I25
