C CLUB President JIM BARRUS Vice President BUDDY CASH Secretary Treasurer JON JACOBSEN C CLUB The C Club of Cody High School is an organization that is made up of members that take part in athletics rn the school To become a member a boy must earn a letter rn one sport When a boy earns his first letter he automatically becomes a member of the club Dues are used for various school functions which includes freshman initiation and the annual club picnic The club sponsors various activities as a means to raise funds to supply equipment needed in the high school athletic program A president vice president treasurer and secretary are elected each year to handle the club affairs

If a candrdate does not obtam a clear majorrty of the votes, a run off electron rs held. Each class votes for tts offrcers, but the entrre student body votes for student body presrdent, who must be a semor. Thrs sprrng the campargns were enthusrastic and spmted. Posters clogged the halls, students were decorated wrth campargn emblems of therr favorxte candidates. The polmcal speeches were truly outstanding. Five students frled for the offrce of student body pres1dent. They were Curt Wxlson, Noel Reynolds, Chrp Rtdgway, D1ck Clomger, and Stanley Sxggms. We salute Curt W1lson, our new student body pres1dent. We are proud to let every- one know that we at Cody Hrgh have begun a new era that emphasrzes our democratxc processes and gtves to student government a greater sense of responsrbrhty,
