unners Rack U The Miles The Cross Country team this year was one of the hardest working teams in our school. On the boys team there were 16 who went out and put alot of miles into each day. The girls had a smaller team but still worked just as hard as the boys. The two team had 2 top runners. For the girls, it was Kelly Ba tes, she has broken four school records, and has come in Ist in many races. The boys had Nate Thompson, who is a junior. They lacked the depth to win against some powerful teams in the conference but they still tried to show their spirit when on the court. Mr. Wertz was this year's coach for the Varsity team. He was helped by varsity manager Rosalie Schaeffer. The Junior Varsity was coached by Mrs. Kolbeck.
