Student Congress For the second year in a row, we have had a Student Council AND a Student Congress. The Council consists of the Student body officers: Doug Hatch, Tammy Garver, Peggy Liggit, Vera Nlontoya and Debbie Cazares, the Class officers: Seniors-David Caylor, Bev Williams, Pete Wong, Yvonne Sedillo, Terry Robinson, Lorenzo Nledina, Juniors-Barbara Lescoe, John Utley, P,D, Caylor, Robyn Jenkins, Connie Selph, Brad Kerby, Sophomores-Rick Deleon, Chris Flores, Bill Newton, Jeff Hunt, Kerri Aguinaga, Pam Flick, and the Historian, Nlitchelle Liebe. The Historian was just added for this year- she will put the scrapbook together which will contain events of the year. The Congress consists of the Council, home room reps, and club representa- tives . This year there were approxi- mately 80 students in the Congress . They planned such activities as Home- coming, Christmas stockings forthe hospital patients and school clean-up. They also assisted with the North Central Evaluation . . The Congress was sub-divided into committees to plan events and to pro- mote student enthusiasm. An outstand- ing one, was the Student of the Week Committee . This committee worked to congratulate outstanding students, in spirit, service and citizenship. Clues were given in the announcements each day and the student was revealed on Friday. The Congress worked in the bookstore and sponsored many dances. They had their ups and downs, but overall the Congress had a very successful year.
