Electricity: A Growing Field Of Jobs fiiiiinHenwiiiin| Electricity class covers the basic con- cepts of the subject. Here, students become familiar with a large variety of basic topics. These topics are the generation of electricity, motors, bat- teries, and all related material. Elec- tronics deals with the theory and ap- plication of basic electronic devices. The equipment with which they work are transistors and tubes. Stu- dents learn how to handle these fun- damental pieces of test equipment. In summarizing this field, electricity deals with large quantities of elec- trical power, whereas electronics deals with minute quantities of elec- tricity. Mr. Cosgrove teaches his stu- dents with actual experiments, of the problems in the field of electricity. He teaches how every part is made and its function in the automobile. The students are taught how to re- pair cars that are not working. So while going to school they are also acquiring a special skill, that they can use when they leave highschool.
