Our officers were: President, Bob Blanchardg Vice President, Paul Montanog Sec- retary, Lynn Hoagland, Business Manager, Jeff Cowden, Treasurer, Jean Friend, Public ity Manager, Sue Evans. Our first dance, Moments to Remember, was given October 10. lt was a great success, as was our second dance given in March. Our largest money-raising event for the year was the raffle of a portable radio in December. Our play was held in May and it was enjoyed by everyone, especially the Juniors. We really went all out for our departing friends, the Seniors, and gave them a really great prom and banquet. All events were great successes due to the advice and support of our advisors, Mrs Warner and Mr. Sewell. We extend to them our warmest thanks. 17

X FRESH N CLASS The Freshman Class of 1958-59 came marching proudly to high school with twenty -six students, for though we were only lower classmen, we were at least in high school. As Freshmen, we had some duties to perform, such as painting the C and clean- ing around it. Since we had no initiation, the Seniors gave us the privilege of cleaning up after their dances, keep the school campus clean, pick up pop bottles after games, giving them Senior priority in the lunch line for two months, and most im- portant of all, they let us raise twelve kittens and their offspring thereof to display at public schools week. Class officers were: President, Pat lngramg Vice President, Nancy Rizzo, Secre- tary, Kay Haney: Treasurer, Kay Morgan, Business Manager, Duane Beauchamp. Many thanks to our advisors, Mr. Pringle and Mrs. Soto. 19
