FRONT ROW fLeft to Righty: Mr. Churchwell, Advisorg Bonnie Wood, Joyce Whitehead, Margaret Mon- tano, Del Lang, Barbara Righetti, Darlene McKay SECOND ROW: Betty Dillard, Frankie Sebastian, Linda Neff, Stella Scovell, Sherry Morgan, Rosemary Borges, Mrs. Winter, Advisor BACK ROW: Jim Evans, Chester Jewell, Paul Madonna, Jerry Martin, Terry Morgan, Kenneth Mee, Mike Kennison, Lewis Wal- lace. fandom Here we are back again at good old Coast Union, one ring higher on the ladder and reaching for the top. One of the highlights of our junior year was the privilege of being able to purchase class rings. These rings signify that we are upper- classmen. Our goal this year was raising the funds for the junior-senior prom. To start the ball rolling, we held a Turkey Trot Dance and the appro- priate bird was raffled off. Also to reach this future goal, we had various food sales and we sold candy and soft drinks at the games. Another event that kept everybody busy was the junior play, The Inner Willy. This was a hilarious comedy about a. shy boy and his inner self. To our great pleasure, this was a smash hit. All these various undertakings led up to the junior-senior prom and banquet. The theme was Stairway to the Stars, which was carried out roman- tically in blue and silver. The class officers this year were Jimmy Evans, presidentg Bar- bara Righett, Vice-presidentg Rosemary Borges, Secretary, Paul Madonna, Treasurer. Our very helpful and understanding advisors were Mrs. Ethyl Winter and Mr. Luther Churchwell. We have had loads of fun this year and are looking forward next year to being mighty seniors! 16
