IKIT The Arab Girls' Varsity team started oft on a rocky year. In talking with Coach Kenna Ramirez, she stated that this year's team has a good potential for a great team. However, they have met up with more aggressive opponents. mln other words , said Coach Ramirez, NWe play basketball like girls do, while our opponents play in a more physical fashion . A former coach of city recreation teams, he is by no means inexperienced. The Arab team was composed of Freshmen and Sophomore swimmers. lVlany participated in the swim program for the hrst time, That was the main reason that Coach Jensen said the Arabs had a promising future. At post time, the Arab swimmers had participated in three league meets. They had lost twice, and won once. This year's team is doing far better than last year's. Hopefully, the team will work hard to improve themselves, so ,that they may be Desert Valleys League contenders. 68 Athletics
