.,' may The Staff For the people on these pages it has been a very long and busy year. For a yearbook staffer the planning started in lVlarch as soon as the previous year's book was finished. The work continued as two yearbook students and the advisors spent a week at a yearbook conference in San Diego. There they learned new styles, new ideas, and hundreds of other new things which make this book what it is now. In the fall months, yearbook became a learning experience as an almost entirely new staff struggled to find out all there was to know about yearbooks in too short a time. In the late fall when the Erst deadline arrived, they just barely survived, but each deadline got a little bit easier as the year progressed. Just like certain athletes become stars, certain members of the staff began to shine: George Rodriguez became a top-notch photographer who always worked above and beyond the call of duty, Noel Ramos and Beth Fookes became layout and copy experts, Sam Salazar became everyones right hand man doing everything for everyone, and the rest of the team became better and better as the year went on. All these people on these pages made, wrote, layed-out, and photographed the book you are now reading. Their greatest hope is that you, the reader, enjoy the book- now and in the years to come.
