'U-.. Vaughn Bishop Counselor George Castro Counselor, Sr., Pep Advisor Dr. Donald Shamblin Counseling is a busy business. The counselors helped in writing referrals, tardies, truancy, getting scholarships, testing, etc. New this year the counselors had to handle minor disciplinary actions. But they were also willing to help the students that wanted to further their education. So they offered advice to students who wanted scholarships that would help them to continue their education. Changing classes is also another priority on their list, as many students are many times displeased with their programs. But besides this part of their job is to also hear any personal problems a student may have. 6 i Academics 155
