From Across The Sea Dear Friends, American Field Service is an institution which makes possible to all students all over the world to exchange ideas and experiences with the students from another country. I had the opportunity of participating in this program. After many interviews and checking out the requirements which are necessary for this program, at last I was admitted and they found a family in the U.S. tCalif.J for me to stay with, and the school where I'd share my thoughts with the others and teachers. This is a great experience, because you finally realize what kind of person you are. You find yourself, your own person, how open you are to talk with the others and express your feelings in another language. Wonderful is the word to describe Calif. and C.V.H.S. and its students and teachers. TO THE STUDENTS: Life is not just having fun and a lot of freedom. Life is Comprehension and Realization. One incident that occurred in student council was when lVlr. Fernandez brought up the issue on boys narrassing the girls who passed by the girls' restrooms.
