Qedicaiian A ,sgtzfifffaff by is . ' J . of M1 We, the Senior Class of '57, are proud to dedicate our 1957 Courier to Mr. Paul Koester. Mr. Koester was the founder of the Courier cmd advisor for eight years. Although he was offered the honor of the dedication innumerable times, he would not accept it While associated with the Courier. This year Mr. Koester left the Clyde School System to accept a position at his alma mater, Libbey High School in, Toledo. A native of Toledo, Ohio, he attended the University of Toledo where he was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi and Pi Gamma Mu, honorary fraternities. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education with social science and history as his majors and Spanish his minor. He spends his leisure time in collecting semi-classical records, and taking Kodachrorne slides of his many travels. He is also very active in Toledo district Scouting and while in Clyde he was the local Senior Scouts advisor. We of Clyde High School feel that this is but a small token of our apprecia- tion for the wonderful job he has done in the classroom, as well as with the Courier.
