ua, ' The school was indeed shocked by the unexpected death of Eva May Riach, the heart of our office. Over a period of her seventeen years of service, Eva May became a tradition, a vital part of the school machinery. Eva May, efficient, and devoted to the best interest of the Clyde Schools, has made for herself a place in our hearts and memories. Only now are We beginning to fully comprehend the significance of this great loss to our school.

SUPERINTENDENT We, the class of '53, extend our thanks to our superintendent, Mr. Virgil Briegel, for the fine Work he has been doing in our commun- ity's behalf. We are very fortunate to have had his expert supervision and guidance, things which are very essential to the smooth Working of any school program. We Wish you much success in the future, and hope to have your leadership in our school for many more years.
