Our first game was highlighted by the election of Kenny Pipes, Team Captaing Iudy Turner, Co-captain, and Tracy Pope, Secretary-Treasurer. We were green, and eager to make good. We enjoyed a Get-Acquainb ed Party and a Christmas Party. The team was solid and our spirits were high. Our second game was more exciting. Backing us was our own Sophomore Paper. With Kenny Pipes as our Team Captain, Iudy Lamonica as Co-captain, and Clara Spano as Secretary-Treasurer, activities lol- lowed rapidly. First, we had a very successful Assem- bly. We ordered our team rings. In the fun section, we had a Halloween Party, a Skating party, and a Valentine party for the birthday oi an outstanding player, Mr. Iohn Quill. To boost our dwindling finan- ces, the team instituted a series' oi cup cake sales. Success was now our slogan and we were determ- ined to stay with it. Our third game started at a fast and furious pace, with Kenny Pipes as Captain, Sharon Ferris as Co- captain, Iudy Lamonica as Secretary-Treasurer. We initiated the policy oi selling class activity cards. We proudly wore our new rings and class sweaters. In keeping with the times, our Assembly had a T.V. theme. The team displayed its dramatic talent in We Shook the Family Tree. With an eye toward the winter games, our potential champs held a Snow party, We transported the Class oi '55 to Paris tor the Iunior-Senior Prom. C'est si bon! Student body otticers for the next year were chosen from our class. The COMMENCEMENT COMMITTEE Row 1: Iesse Iones, Iacquie Hilton, Chairman, Sharon Ferris. Finally we came to the acid test: our championship game, The rfrzzultfe of this game would decide our future, Siiccc-:us was not only our motto, it was a habit. In keeping with this, we elected Ierry Cochrum our Captain, Bob Gooch our Co-captain, and Ardele lorqennen our Secretary-Treasurer, Even Hollywood took notice when we presented the play Time out for Ginger With nostalgia, we recall the after-game dances we sponsored. Our Senior Assembly was pre- sented, with traditional enjoyment. The pace was accelerated with a flurry of activities, Turnabout is fair play, so the Seniors were hosted at the Annual Prom by the Iuniors, Each occasion held a special place in our hearts and memoriesi the Senior Lun- cheon, the Baccalaureate, the picnic, The climax of this game was the Commencement, when each player totaled his score The final party of the year, the Hallelujah Hop, found us both happy to be forging ahead, and sad to be leaving the school that formed ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE the background for so many of our fondest memories.
