OUR CLASS HISTORY In September '38 the freshman class had fifty proud members. After a year's labor they were advanced to the sophmore class of '39 They well earned their promotion for they had to study hard. As sophmores this class moved up among their superiors, especially in the line of athletics, for they had three boys to make the football team, two boys to make the basketball team, and four girls to make the girls' basketball team. In the junior year they marched forward with Mrs. Charles H. Lilkins r.s their sponsor. ihc class presented a play, The Moon River Rancho, and sponsored the Jr.—Sr. banquet. This year the girls won the girls' basketball class tournament and the boys won the boys' class tournament. Later in the year the class took both the girls' and the boys' softball tournaments. The present senior class has seen a very long year end their hopes are rising more and more that some day there will be other classes to achieve some of the things they have. This year they won the boys' basketball tournament. They had as sponsor this year Miss Mary Robinson, v ho sponsored their class play, !lis Ozark Cousin. The class lost some of its members in the four years but they also gained some to keep the number up to 1+6. This class according to the records has accomplished much in its four years end it is its desire that many classes will follow it in spirit and in improvements of the grand old school in which so many boys and grils have been made happy. It is the sincere hope of every senior that many classes will foilow this one.
