Mrs. Richardson discusses her latest Stinger ideas with Juniors Angela Sample £ Kim Spears. Along with other clubs, the Sting- er made the change this year. We went from the supervision of Mrs. Betty Oliger back to Mrs. Sherrin Richardson. Mrs. Richardson's jour- nalism class did most feature arti- cles and those interested and will- ing to work did the rest. Instead of having one cover artist, several dif- ferent people provided a cover. We've had a lot of fun working on the Stinger this year and were pleased with our results. Melanie Miller Leisa Bonds

Susan Shell was chosen as a National Officer candidate. Many changes were made in FHA this year. The main change was a new sponsor. The re- duction of officers from 11-8 was another ma- jor difference. FHA started its year in July when the offi- cers held planning meetings. The Student Body was decided upon as a theme for the year. Participation in these activities, which ranged from a Student Body Work Shop to the annual Mother Daughter Banquet, was excel- lent. FHA was involved in a new project this year, which raised money for the Arkansas Children Hospital, called There's No Place Like Home-A Miracle Mile Away . To raise money for this project our chapter sold var ious types of food through the International Food Sales. FHA was one of the most active clubs on campus and although many changes have tak- en place in FHA. we have had an exceptionally successful year.
