20 Sophomores The Sophomore class is one in a million! While most classes wait un- til their Junior year to raise money for the prom, the sophomores start- ed during their freshmen year. This energetic class has sponsored car wash, raffles, pie suppers, and sold tumblers as some of their money- making activities. Over 1.500 dollars has been accumulated so far. They hope to have over 3.000 by the time it is their turn to sponsor the Junior- Senior Banquet £ Prom. This hard working crew is bound to go far. Freshmen play a major role at C.H.S. While still unable to par- ticipate in all C.H.S. organizations, they are able to join some clubs such as F.H.A. and F.F.A., and Student Council. The Freshmen Class of 1986 has made the big change, Middle School to High School. That's hard to do when you're still involved with Junior Sports. Even though being the low man on the totem pole seems hard, the Freshmen know that some day, they will be the top dog once again.
