All Students who are eligible scholastically are fur- ther judged by the entire faculty on the basis of service, leadership, and character. A faculty committee then makes the final choice. The installation of new members is held in the spring, usually in April. The National Honor Society was intro- duced to Clinton High in 1958. Compliments of: Perona s Grocery Store, Blanford, Ind. Mrs. Lapworth Sponsors; Trudy Davis, Tom Cloyd, Dru Ann Popello, Pam Dal Sasso, Donna Harris. ROW THREE: Ann Staats, Mary Louise Homey, Helen Smith, Sue Jones, Bob Nardi. ROW FOUR: Gina LaRoche, Sandra Dunlop, Sandra Beard. Diane Peperak, Dave Kowinski, Jim York. ROW FIVE: Janice Kendall, Terry Harris. Gary Pepelea, Jerry Zanandrea. The object of the Student Council is to improve the school in all possible ways. The Council was active this year in planning holiday dances, programs, and noon-time activities for students in the cafeteria. It also provides a scholarship loan for any qualified student that might be interested. Each year it sponsors a large project for the improvement of the school; this year new pictures for the study hall were provided. Compliments of: Scott Oil Company Stevenson Lumber Co. Dru Ann Popello, Mary Louise Homey, and Sue Bentley decorate the Senior High Bulletin board for Christmas. 28 -

ROW SEATED: Ramona Baratto, Business Manager; Marilyn Amerman, Loretta Miller, Linda Finger, Paulette Cappa, Sandra Lambert, Judy Stewart, Ann Hurlow. ROW STAND- ING: John Saalwaechter, Nancy La Roche, Charlene McLeish, Barb Sweazey, Dru Ann Popello, Sandra Drake, Sue Ralston. Terese Sasso, Amanda Wagner, Martha Haymaker, Donna Biggs. Mrs. Pilipovich. The Wildcatonian has always been a popular feature of C. H. S. life. There are five editions published during the school year. The paper con- tains a ’’Seen Around C. H. S. ” column, club and activity news, a sports review, special features and editorials, jokes, and Student Council bulle- tins. The last edition is devoted mainly to the grad- uating Seniors. Enclosed in the paper is a monthly Roto magazine which contains teen-age news on a national basis. The Wildcatonian staff is composed of Commerce majors, and the faculty advisor is Mrs. Pilipovich.
