BASKETBALL SEASON 1953-1954 The Clinton High School basketeers finished a winning season of 14 wins and 10 losses in admirable style. Coach Bob Burton has every reason to be proud of his squad for this brilliant improvement after a slow start. The team really placed Clinton on the map as they were one of the only two teams from Indiana to beat Gerstmeyer of Terre Haute. At the time, Tech was rid- ing a 22 game winning streak and were rated as the number one team in Indiana. Seniors George Domeika and Chuck Schelsky will be sadly missed: George in his excellent shooting and rebound work and Chuck for his sparkling attitude and defensive play.
