tyootbcM, SeaAcut 1953 The Clinton gridiron squad boasted a better than average season this year coming up with a five won, one tie, and four lost record. The Wildcats experienced defeat only from the most ex- cellent of competition, referring to Wiley, Bloomington, and Sullivan. The Linton game was a real heartbreaker as the Miners squeaked a two point decision. The boys displayed their true style in downing two very good teams from Terre Haute, Garfield and Gerstmeyer. Although Coach Sanders will certainly miss the outstanding play of many of the graduating seniors, the odds are high that next year Clinton will again harbor a fine team.
