If streets were dirty, taxes high, Or school was crowded Say would cry: My, what a town g but brother Do Would set to work and make things newg And while Do worked, Say still would cry- He does it wrongg I know that I Could do it right. So, all the day Was heard the clank of brother Sayg But this one fact from none was hid: Say always talkedg Do always did.

Seniors! Oh, the word is music to the weary undergrad and music to the former graduates: but oh, the word means trouble to the weary teacher. But seriously, we weren't so bad tqulety. With the largest class to date - 199 - we were a source of pride to one and all. To pilot us safely through the final stretch we chose as class president, Wakefield Kirkmang vice - president, Mary Helen Kanderag secretary, Paul Marietta: and treasurer, Louis Foli. Our sponsors were Mr. Fred Hayes and Mr. A. T. Hays. We had our class party March 8, in the gym. We ran wild on May 15 -Senior Day. Then the Juniors entertained us with a beautiful Prom on May 17 Then at last - caps and gowns. With a smile on our faces and tears in our eyes, we went through baccalaureate on Sunday, May 19. On Tuesday the 21st we tore up to Turkey Run and had a grand and glorious time. On May 23 Commencement was held, bringing our high school careers to a suc- cessful close. Page Twenty
