One of our obliging Seniors, she can be seen backing the team at any of the high school games and giving her ideas wherever they are needed. Her genuine sense of humor and pleasant ways makes her welcome everywhere among all groups. Although her future plans have not as yet been revealed to us, we feel sure that she is bound to be a great success in all her endeavors. Best of luck, Mariorie, from the Class of '59. Elaine is one of the quieter members of our class, but to her friends she is known to be cheerful and sociable. Elaine is a faithful supporter of all class activities and can be seen either cheering the Gaels on to victory or at a local dance. Afternoons will find Elaine working as a clerk in the local A8iP Store. Larry, who hails from the Germantown section of Clinton, possesses a carefree, happy-go-lucky manner which makes him welcome at every social event. After school he is usually found in a white apron and bow tie busily working at the local A8-P Supermarket. Larry was never one for much study, but always managed to achieve passing grades. His future plans are yet undecided, but we know with his friendly manner and pleasing ways, he'll be successful. Good luck, Larry, from the Class of '59. Bob, a well-liked, good-looking lad who hails from the Acre, is one of our best-dressed Seniors. Although spending a great deal of his time working in the Supermarket, he still manages to attend almost all social activities and can be seen backing the teams at any one of the games. Bob's leisure time is spent riding around in a pink and white Plymouth. During his four years at C. H. S. his marks have been kept at average level. His future plans are as yet indefinite, but we know with his gentle manner and big smile he is bound for success. Her pleasing personality has made her a friend to all as we see by the large number of passengers usually found in her well-known Plymouth. Ellie remains a consistent testimonial student even though she never passes up a good time and is always con- tributing to the fun. Hailing from the Acre, Gail is sometimes described as a whirlwind of activity. Her frantic antics have made her well-liked by all. Afternoons you will find her working behind the counter at J. J. Newberry's helping the shoppers with her cheerful smile and pleasant personality. ln addition to this, Gail found time to support all school activities. Now we come to one of our most industrious young men in the person of Walter, a veritable whirlwind of activity. Walt has also been one of our most valuable classmates as well, contributing immensely to any and all class activities. In addition, Walter has devoted a vast amount of time to the development and perfection of his heart-lung machine, a proiect which has already won him much acclaim. Walter intends to enter Clark University in the fall, where he will enroll in the pre-medical course. We are certain that Walter's energy and intelligence will lead to a brilliant career in medicine. Outwardly, this young miss is one of the quiet members of our class, but she is known to her friends as fun-loving and sociable. Eileen pays little attention to books and studying, for her spirit is uncontrollably nonchalant and light-hearted. Through this friendly manner, we find an amusing mischievous streak which makes her a truly delightful person to know. Eileen's plans are to enter Boston University, and we give her all our best wishes for success in the future. Qginzier The athletic type we all adore, each day we like him more and more. Meet Dickie, the Senior lad who has all the girls in a dither! Dickie came to us in our Junior year from Bromfield Academy in Harvard. Tall, handsome, intelligent, an outstanding athlete, and personality - what more could you ask for? But beneath all his fine characteristics you'll find a happy-go-lucky guy, ready to lend a hand and a laugh to any activity, whether it be in class, in sports, or at social functions. Dickie is famous for his pigskin passing on the Green and Gold team, his ability on the bas- ketball court and, well, he's iust about another Ted Williams on the baseball diamond.
